Taking place on November 8-9th 2019 in Mississauga, Ontario, the Canadian Celebration of Women in Computing (CAN-CWiC) is a chance for technical women from across Canada to meet, network and celebrate.

The conference will feature keynotes, workshops, student sessions, a career fair and more!

The School of Computer Science, McWiCS, and CSUS are proud to offer a scholarship to McGill Computer Science students wanting to attend CAN-CWiC. Students may apply to have the full cost of registration covered. In fact, CAN-CWiC may provide free bus transportation. In the case that a bus is not provided, transportation costs will be covered. More information will be given to selected students.

The CSUS is an elected student group tasked with improving student academics and life in the computer science department. This includes discussing course changes with faculty, organising events, collating student feedback, and promoting a sense of community.
