What is a hackathon?
A hackathon is a coding event where a group of people get into teams of 1-4 people and code and build a project in 24 hrs.
What should I bring ?
You should bring a laptop and charger, your student ID, a change of clothes and anything else you’ll need for a weekend of hacking.
Who can participate?
Students at the high school, CEGEP, undergraduate and graduate levels are welcome!
What if I’ve never been to a hackathon before?
This hackathon is beginner-friendly, and the perfect first hackathon! Our goal is to provide you with the tools (mentors, workshops and online resources) to create something you’ll be proud of.
What if I don’t have a team?
No worries, we’ll have time allocated for finding a team and discussing ideas with other hackers.
How much will it cost?
Attending the hackathon is free and we provide food and drinks as well. You only need to worry about getting here.
When and where is the hackathon taking place?
The hackathon will be taking place the weekend of January 18-19 2020 at MILA.
