Leanne Young - VP Academic

As VP Academic, she is responsible for all educational and curricular concerns in CS, and is here to help advocate for your academic rights. Marco is a U2 student majoring in Software Engineering with an Entrepreneurship minor. Born and raised in Montreal, Marco enjoys playing ice hockey and basketball, spending time in the great outdoors, and biking around the city. As VP Internal, he organizes the semesterly clothing sale, the Industry Mentorship Program, and is constantly thinking of new ways to share his excitement with growing the Computer Science community at McGill.

Kailong is a U2 student from Montreal majoring in Software Engineering. As this year’s VP of Communications, he’s in charge of sending out the weekly Listserv newsletter and managing all CSUS social media channels. In his spare time, he enjoys discovering new lo-fi playlists on Spotify to study/code to, watching lots of YouTube & Netflix, and going for the occasional hike.
Yuzhou Yan - VP Administration

Yuzhou is a U3 Linguistics and Computer Science student. He is from Zhengzhou, China and used to study in Singapore. As the VP Administration, he does, of course, administrative stuff, such as keeping records, minutes, and an eye on the MVP of every CSUS meeting. When he is not enjoying a fantastic time at Trottier, he is likely hiking, reading about maps, history and languages, or taking just one more turn in Civilization.

Anahita Mohapatra is a fourth-year Computer Science Major with Minors in Gender, Sexuality, Feminist and Social Justice Studies, and Interdisciplinary Life Sciences. As Equity Commissioner, she ensures that students have equal access to resources, information, and opportunities within CSUS. In her free time, she enjoys rewatching the same 5 SNL skits repeatedly, spiraling into Wikipedia vortexes, and talking about Christopher Nolan movies while none of her friends pay attention.
