The CSUS Helpdesk aims to help students in CS through peer-to-peer tutoring. Tutors will do their best to help you with assignments, projects, exams and other CS course material.

For the Winter 2024 semester, requesting a tutor will be done online on Discord. The link to join the Discord server is here: Join the CSUS Helpdesk Discord. Our hours for this semester are Monday-Friday, 11 AM-5 PM EST.

We have included the Helpdesk schedule as well as the courses that the Tutors have taken for your own reference. All of our Tutors have taken the lower-level CS courses (202/250/206), but if you need help with a higher-level course, you can see the Tutors who have taken it and come at the time of their shifts.

Helpdesk will have an in person format. Students must go in person to Trottier 3090 to meet with tutors. You are still required to add yourself and the course you need help with to the Discord queue. You can only enter Trottier 3090 once you have been invited in by a tutor through the Discord.

If you ever have any feedback regarding the Helpdesk as a whole, have any questions or concerns, or if you want to put in a good word for a Tutor that helped you, feel free to message an Admin of the Helpdesk on Discord with your comments, or fill out this google form - we are always open to hearing feedback.

The CSUS is an elected student group tasked with improving student academics and life in the computer science department. This includes discussing course changes with faculty, organising events, collating student feedback, and promoting a sense of community.
